This is a really well-designed, intuitive app. The way that it works to connect you to content and others to your content is open and clear. Theres no "secret" sauce paradigm about limiting your reach or feeding you what the "man behind the curtain" wants you to see. All you content is encrypted and you can chat with others in private over the encrypted network. And ... its free (for now).

This app may just be the greatest app in the world but if you cant even open it without it crashing its pointless Im going to delete it now and find a new app

This app is quickly replacing Facebook for me. Instead of seeing my feed full of hateful, ignorant posts, or mind rotting garbage, I see generally more engaging posts and articles and ideas. Imagine Facebook...but without the "hotline bling" or "honey booboo". Or companies paying Facebook to flood your newsfeed with garbage. Also, the app boasts its powers of privacy. Speaking of which-did you know Facebook literally tracks everywhere you go on the Internet? Im pretty sure they sell that information to advertisers, too. Im not about that noise. Value your privacy. Get the minds app.

IF this is actually an encrypted social media platform, Im all about it. BUT, it has a terrible UI. Really really slow. Dumb point system. Fails to load. Posts dont show up. Search is terrible. Double posts in your horrendous feed. Lots of problems. UPDATE(many months later) Logged back in & theres still all of the same issues. Not much has changed. Very laggy..crashes..What is the purpose of the stupid point system? Boosting your posts..really stupid. Why cant u copy links to view outside the app? Search feature is terrible. The tinder like follow bit is a terrible setup. Also, it just seems like its littered with bad memes. Theres already enough memes online.. Part of what makes the Internet annoying in general. Here, lets change the world with bad memes..ugh
